Grandpa Genoa-Drawing
Roughed-in With Charcoal
Granpa Genoa has been transfered via video projector and charcoal onto the canvas. He looks a little rough, but that's okay, there is room for improvement. I am mainly concerned with getting the head and other features in the right place on the canvas. I'm not too concerned with details yet. I am eager to get some paint on the canvas!

Grandpa Genoa-Building the Canvas Step 13
The canvas, now on the easel screams, "paint me!" But first I must draw it. I plan to project an image of Granpa Genoa on the canvas using a video projector. I will then trace it. This sounds like cheating and maybe it is, but I enjoy painting much more than drawing. And when it comes to hobbies, a man's gotta do what he enjoys, right? And here is a look at the backside. A little rough, but who cares? The front is what matters.
