Birdhouse

This is my first attempt at using watercolours (don't laugh!). I usually paint with oils. They are much more forgiving. I can get more complex pictures with oil because I can keep working and working it until it looks right. Watercolours, on the other hand are a one shot deal.

Chris, I'll be honest with you. You have a great talent. I can't say enough about your oil work in your house. The water color is different, but I very much like the softened tones. I've always wanted to be able to be artistic with a brush or pencil. I can see what I'd like to paint, but my hands just won't do it! Keep it up. I expect more of your work to be up here on the blog.

Thank you Zach. If you you ever get an itch to paint, I recommend starting with oils, or acryllics. It is fun!
