This will be my first attempt at a self-portrait. I realize the practice itself is somewhat narcissistic, and yet I want to paint myself as I truly look and not the "ideal" me.
On this stage, I've successfully transferred my drawing to the canvas and laid down a very "lean" layer of olive colored mixture thinned with Turps. I love the smell, but it gives me a vicious headache!
